Chinese authorities are investigating after a viral video appeared to show a worker from Tsingtao urinating into a tank, believed to contain ingredients for its popular beer.

The clip has received tens of millions of views on social media.

The company said it alerted police immediately after the video came to its attention, adding that the batch of ingredients had been sealed.

Tsingtao is one of China’s top beer producers and its biggest exporter.

It’s China, what did you expect? Dignity?

And if one China’s biggest exporter is a brand that nobody heard of then you know it’s shit. Heck, I live in Vietnam, and we import a lot of shit from China but this is the first I knew of its existence. I wouldn’t be surprised if their beer is made with literal dog shit.

In case you didn’t notice from the tone, we Vietnamese fucking hate China.

The Tsingtao brand is sold in 62 countries and regions around the world,[13] and accounts for more than 50% of China’s beer exports. According to the company’s financial figures from 2010, Tsingtao saw a 6.6% year-on-year revenue increase from sales to Hong Kong and other overseas markets.

Hell, we have Tsingtao in some stores near me in the US, and I live in the South lol

I live in the UK and I don’t drink beer because I generally, ironically, think beer overall tastes like piss, and yet I still know Tsingtao. It has fairly substantial market recognition in a lot of countries.
