I missed Gale until the end of Act 2

I totally missed Gale in act 1 and didn’t get him until near the end of act 2. he was very hungry for magic items so I fed him. I finished off act 2 and then he left, saying his condition is worse. I never ran into Elminster because I guess I didn’t have Gale in the party, he he leaves immediately when I leave camp. oh well… I’m a bit sad about it, I literally had time to level him up, get him equiped, and then he left.

So what you’re telling us is that you’ll still have new things to experience in your next play-through. :)

Oh darn, I guess you’re going to have to start over :) . Changing class (even subclass) makes the game very replayable and as you’ve noticed, it’s easy to miss things on your first play-through.

Shame. He has a great reaction one of your options with a spider in the Guantlet of Shar.

I had a terrible first play through.

    Tap for spoiler

I lost Gale to the rift because I didn’t understand the DnD mechanics and chose the strength option on a rogue.

I chose the Druid over the Dark Elf and then failed to find the quest starter for the blight thing.

I lost Laezel (sp?) to the zombie girl.

oh that’s rough. it took me a lot of learning for that stuff too. I missed Gale because the game said the portal was unstable and have me the option to use it, so I looked around and couldn’t find anything portal related and then it disappeared
