The pain is unbearable, and that’s from a small hole. Imagine how painful it is whilst actively drilling a LARGE hole. All of the pain. Like, your whole body inadvertently clenches due to the unbelievable amount of pain.

    No way did this happen…

Been in this kind of dental pain. You’d pull the tooth long before you’d consider drillin’ n fillin’ it yourself.

If anyone is in this pain, you should know this…

1: Don’t ignore it. It won’t go away, and there is usually an infection that can spread to your jaw or other teeth. It needs to be taken care of by a professional ASAP.

2: You can take an NSAID with a Non-NSAID pain reliever, and it is just about the only thing that can relieve this pain. Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen were my only relief while waiting for my dental appointment.

The equipment is approximately $800-$1000, and root canal is anywhere from $600-$1600. Maybe they got a bad price and decided it would be cheaper to do it themselves?

Assuming you want to got to, say, Mexico city, it costs a little over $800. The root canal in Mexico cost $250-$500, making the total cost $1050-$1300. Unless they are already in Mexico, I don’t think this is any better of an option.

I can imagine someone watching a few YouTube videos and thinking they can pull their own tooth, but doing a root canal on yourself is a little much. Bad joke.

This text doesn’t look very green. Maybe it’s stained red with Anon’s blood?

Oil of clove will numb the pain and no need for a prescription. Get the tooth pulled it is far cheaper.

I got a root canal and a temporary crown, a few years later I got a crown, many years later the crown came off because there wasn’t enough tooth to anchor it. I got the tooth pulled but I had waited so long that the tooth started getting absorbed into my jaw and it took 4-5 hours of hammering to break it out of my jaw. The dentist needed to take breaks from the hammering.

My advice is don’t waste the time doing all the other steps when you will just need it pulled later. If you can get the tooth without it being broken you may get to make a custom implant in the future.

Just go to the fucking dentist, even third world countries have public healthcare for such extreme issues.

I am constantly amazed at this for the US. I’m from Honduras, and most dentist stuff is like 20 bucks, with some more intricate things running you maybe 60 to 90 usd. I’ve literally never spent more than that on a dentist visit in my life, and I’ve been to at least 5 dentists in all 30 years, stayed loyal to two of them because they have been so good, they’re the kind of people you just stick to.
