      he was at los alamos.

      Nope. Sure wasn’t.

Einstein never took part in the Manhattan Project and he was even barred from consulting with the physicists picked by Los Alamos Laboratory director J. Robert Oppenheimer

The reason is that US officials believed his left-wing political views posed a security threat. In July 1940, they denied him the security clearance required to work on the project.

well, shows the quality of my research i guess. he did however help kick off the manhattan project by recommending the bomb be built to the president.

Yeah, he was all "dude! We should totes do this thing before those Nazi weirdos do so!“* and probably regretted it ever since it was first used.

*might not be his exact words

… you linked the wiki under a post that jokingly stated that Einstein was confounded by the invention of the bomb. Without additional context, it seemed to me like you were implying he was blanket endorsing the creation of the bomb. So I put that info out there to clarify his stance without anyone needing to open an additional link.

I wasn’t being sassy or nothing, just adding context.

… Okay, a little bit sassy, but that’s just how I roll, no shade intended.

I was unnecesarily agressive, I’m sorry.

My point is that he was fully aware of it, and endorsed the bomb, so the meme doesn’t make much sense IMO. But your comment is on point, there was a huge risk of the nazis with nuclear bombs.
