Israel has been in breach of international law for months; nobody with the power to effect change cares. That’s incredibly clear.

Dollars over lives. Always has been.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Israel is in breach of international law as the occupying power if it fails to provide food and water to the people of Gaza, the UK foreign secretary, Lord Cameron, told peers on Tuesday in his clearest warning yet over Israel’s conduct.

He also said it was simply not possible for people in Rafah to leave as proposed by the Israeli Defense Forces, remarks that suggest the UK would not endorse any Israeli plan to mount a full-scale attack on the area containing more than 1 million people in crowded refugee camps.

But he sidestepped a request by one peer for the UK to halt arms supplies to Israel, adding Hamas could stop the fight immediately.

In Cameron’s clearest warning to Israel about its conduct he said as the occupying power in Gaza, Israel had to make sure that humanitarian aid and food, water and shelter were available to people in Gaza, “because if they don’t do that, that would be a breach of international humanitarian law”.

Setting out his overall strategy, Cameron said: “You’ve got to get, in our view, the Hamas leaders out of Gaza, otherwise any ceasefire won’t last because the problem will still be there.

You have got to give the Palestinian people a political horizon to a better future and two-state solution and, crucially, you’ve got to release all of the hostages and do that very quickly.”

The original article contains 619 words, the summary contains 232 words. Saved 63%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!

You’ve got to get the Hamas leaders out of Gaza, otherwise any ceasefire won’t last because the problem will still be there. You’ve got to dismantle the operation of terrorist attacks. You’ve got to have a new Palestinian Authority and governments in place. You have got to give the Palestinian people a political horizon to a better future and two-state solution and, crucially, you’ve got to release all of the hostages and do that very quickly.

Edit: this was a reading check test and you guys failed. Don’t comment without reading the article. What I wrote above was a word for word quote directly by Lord Cameron found in this very article.

Nope you’ve just radicalized a nation against you further promising further fighting because violence was chosen.

Israel funded Hamas. Never forget that key part.

Israel has more power and money here. Don’t forget that

      We know.

Hamas is the product of the policies of Israel, not just the Occupation itself but even actual funding given by Bibi to Hamas.

The “problem” is not the “leaders of Hamas”, the problem are the near-Nazi Fascists leading Israel and their policity towards the Palestinian people for the “crime” of having been born in that land - if there was no Hamas there would be something else because it’s Israeli naked racism and Israelis voting for Fascists that is the disease, whilst Hamas is but a symptom.

That you claim that the “problem” is Hamas can only be attributed to 2 things:

          • Either you’re dumb as a very dumb doorknob, in which case you should be used to getting negative feedback on providing your opinion.
          • You’re aligned with Israel, which makes you a racist and a Nazi-lover, in which case you deserve a lot worse than downvotes.

And, by the way, the exact same logic applies when the words you chose to parrot are originally from “Lord” Cammeron, he who directly led to Brexit because of being a half-witted born-with-a-golden-spoon-up-his-arse priviledged wanker and numb-numb-nationalist. In fact wheelling out the slimy, sleazy ex-PM who got rewarded-for-service with a Lordship for putting the far-right nutters of his party in Power and getting the UK to leave the EU is a bloody insult to anybody who knows British politics from the inside. Then again, this is The Guardian, which is little more than the voice of the upper middle class and the rich (as noticeable because almost all of it’s journalists went to exclusive and expensive private schools and it’s board is full of people with Titles given by the Royals (the greatest endorsment from the Old Wealth you can get in that country).

I mean, both The Guardian and this wanker (along with the rest of his party) are guilty of having accused a Jewish Holocaust Survivor of being anti-semite as part of an attempt (that succeeded, I might add) at overthrowing the one true leftwinger elected as leader of the Labour in the last 3 decades: basically they accused said Labour leader - Corbyn - of being anti-semite because he sat on a panel in a conference where somebody compared the actions of Israel to those of the Nazis only (and “curiously” they failed to mention that) the person who did said that was a Jewish Holocaust Survivor.

So yeah, just about anything coming out of the dominant political parties and media in the UK is going to be pro-Israel Propaganda, only done with very subtle, very sleazy twists (what many think is posh) learned in the very expensive and very exclusive boarding schools attended by the children of the British upper classes, such as Cammeron (and most of the Guardian’s board) at that age.

You think choosing a specific quote from a pretty double-faced interview of a pretty sleazy guy doing his posh-twat “I understand your concerns and here’s a thousand reasons why you’re wrong and I’m right” routine (same as he and all like him have done since they learned it at those posh expensive boarding schools I mentioned), and parroting it does not reflect your own biases and preferences???!

Damn, you’re even dumber than I thought, which has gotta be some kind of record…

Firstly, you are rude AF. I am not required to give a picture of every fucking angle just because someone might have a different opinion. I picked a line from the article and that’s it.

Secondly, I hope you respond to this message because I won’t read it. Make it longer than before so maybe you can publish your findings. Only then Lord Cameron would see it and change his mind.

You can’t do any of that anymore. It’s not even possible. What are they going to have an election? With what infrastructure. And guess who they’re probably going to vote for? Israelis have been bombing and murdering them for the last few months. You think they’re voting for moderate peaceful leaders? No they’re going to very understandably be voting for people who can them bring them Israeli blood. Which is half the reason Netanyahu did it in the first place.

You’re half right, but only half. These things need the Israeli right wing to be out of the picture, not just Hamas. It’s those people that gave rise to Hamas and other terrorist/resistance organizations. You’re like someone saying “we need the IRA to stop their actions so Irish people can have rights” during the Troubles.
