Learn from us. I’m in Texas and it is really horrifying. Do not let them get a foothold or they will trample your basic freedoms. Now that they had “defeated” legal abortion, they are coming for contraception, just as many of us predicted they would.

    People are dying.

They already did Brexit. Fake right wing populism has already taken root. Abortion hysteria is just a DLC.

Im not sure “gaining traction” is the right way of phrasing it, given that thisbis happening in the context of a law change being debated that increases abortion rights. No matter how much the fundamentalists from across the pond donate there just isnt the very religious constituency here to be receptive to that message.

No surprises here. A lot of the people leading the anti-trans organizations and movements in the UK and abroad had (quite surprisingly /s) really regressive views in plenty of other issues. Now that they’ve fed the beast and they’re present in political discussions all over the country, it’s only natural that they grow more ambitious.

LGB Alliance founder defends working with anti-abortion, anti-LGBT+ Heritage Foundation in resurfaced tweets Note that they’re called LGB alliance in an intentional move to be exclusionary.
