I read a few years ago she had some health issues. Hope she’s doing well. Her videos/projects are always fun. From the random, food throwing robots to Truckla (which was legit impressive).
She had a (non-cancerous) brain tumor, which she did a few videos about treating. I hope that’s behind her forever as well. :(
Ah that explains the Hat Bag/ Bag Hat. For it to work properly one would need to have a dent in one’s skull the size of one’s cargo. Think of the hat gag from last week, and sneaking a roast chicken into the theater. ;-)
She had cancer for abit (not confident but I think it was brain cancer), as-far-as-she’s-shared that’s in the past and she’s having fun now
Now that you mention it, that does sound right.
Glad to hear she’s doing well and having fun again.
I don’t know, in her videos she’s always looking pretty down. She really hasn’t been the same since then.
I don’t know about that. Her medical issues was like 6 years ago, I think what your seeing is she has matured and has a very different perspective on what’s important in life. She seems happy and doing well, she’s just older and isn’t being as silly and giggly as she was in the beginning.
There’s a fatal flaw in this that she never even addressed. In the beginning, she said she is always wearing a hat. Well, if she’s carrying a bag, she’s no longer wearing a hat! I think she needs to make the bag in a way that she can still wear the hat while it’s a bag.
Obviously, you need the hat-bag to carry spare hats.
Most of the times, I carry a bag or two with me when doing groceries, but sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I wish I had a compact bag in my hat. But I don’t wear a hat.
I see Simone Giertz, I click. She remains one of the best people on YouTube.
Although clearly her production value obviously increased since her shitty robots days, she remains a creator that feels very down to earth, doing projects that, while very polished, seem accessible to a normal person with a CNC machine, a couple 3d printers and a laser cutter.
Lol, this is the video that I watched today.
I don’t think I’d trust having a zipper on my hat.
