A woman plunged Friday into an 8-meter (26 feet) deep sinkhole in the Kuala Lumpur city center after the pavement she was on caved in, burying her alive, Malaysian authorities said.

      Did they really have to use the term “buried alive” when they don’t know the condition of the woman?

        I mean, she was alive at the moment she was buried, even if they don’t know her condition currently.

    I wonder if urabn camouflage is appropriate attire for search and rescue services? Like, what if you (the searcher) get stuck, and no-one can find you 🤔

      You know that meme where a guy in uniform was giving lessons to a few cobras? This is that uniform. He was a member of the Malaysian fire and rescue service.

      He passed away a while back though, from, yup, cobra bites.
