52·4 months agoJust like “reading the rules” for each community. Stop wasting everyone’s time with boilerplate bullshit that shouldn’t need to be said, like treat people with respect, no spamming, etc. If there are community specific rules to adhere to, put them front and center.

3·5 months agoOn the other hand, he directed Titanic, which probably also had tech advances, but is recognized more for the story. Is that a fair observation? I was still a kid when it came out, so I know less about it than Avatar.

7·6 months agoOverall adjusting seat costs per flight based on how full or empty that flight is, is first degree price discrimination.
Interesting. Hotels do this all the time, jacking up prices 100s of % as occupancy increases. And of course if there are events or concerts happening. Supply and demand, sure I guess. Still feels scummy.

1·6 months agoMy microwave has a feature that, after it’s done microwaving, positions the turntable the way it was when it started. So a cups handle is always accessible.
This isn’t the original is it? I don’t remember Belle looking like that.

I’ve been holding off on using it more because I haven’t found a replacement for Summit. But because of that feature, I’ll make a bigger effort.
