If corporations are people, they should be bullied.

Because everyone likes someone being literal about a joke, reminder to keep your cat indoors.
Outside cats live on average 5-10 years, indoor cats 10-20 years. 😺

721·2 months agoIf people watched the Qatar World Cup where they literally killed thousands of slaves to build the soccer stadiums, only to say that the US is too bad for them to deal with… You know things are getting rough.

If you game, Bazzite with KDE is damn near perfect. I’ve been running it for a year and never had a problem making it do what I want it to do.
I don’t want an upkeep heavy OS.
Bazzite is immutable, updates are easy and not bothersome, and if for any reason one ever breaks something, a single command (sudo rpm-ostree rollback), you go back to the previous state, easy peasy.

You Should Know@lemmy.world•YSK: Deezer, the music streaming service, is owned by a company whose Founder and CEO is a Russian Oligarch with connections to the Kremlin and donates to the American Republican party.
3·6 months agoQobuz
For anyone checking this thread in the future. Qobuz does seem to be the only one not owned by demons. Deezer’s owner was personally sanctioned by Ukraine for his support of the invasion, Spotify pays artists incredibly poorly (and is partially owned by Tencent and Black Rock), Tidal’s largest shareholders are investment banks and Black Rock, and Napster is owned in-part by Live Nation.
Ugh.
