Yeah… ignoring south ossetia annexation and the Crimea annexation and killings abroad using pollonium… and Putin repeatedly stating Ukraine was a mistake… who could have foreseen this outcome?

If there was any acknowledgement of the fact it was just realpolitik, we did not care about the other stuff and hoped the trade deals would be enough… but no… no introspection whatsoever.
