I’d rather have the fascists out of the government.
multiple things are possible
True, but the post was specifically singular.
…is it?
Yes, it says “the thing that we need.” I can’t imagine that being more than one thing.
Hey, maybe a new muppets movie with pascal would kick off the purging of the billionair class, and the GOP?
“might be the thing” reads to me like “hey, why not try this too”
I think we are expecting too much from Pedro Pascal. You know he’s not a prophet.
How dare you besmirch our mighty prophets Pedro!
I think our timeline got thrown out of wack when the Muppets TV show that was basically 30 Rock got axed. That show was funny as heck and I’m still mad they cancelled it.
I loved 30 rock! Did go off the boil a bit by the end though
Fuck twitter
As long as the Walt Disney Company owns the Muppets, we should give up on them as a franchise.
Muppet Oppenheimer where everyone is a muppet but Cillian.
I bet he would go with the Michael Caine straight man role.
Also Sunshine and 28 Days Later where everyone is a muppet but Cillian.
We can’t go around muppetting every film. Dark defines the light just as the muppets define all non-muppet media.
I don’t know that it would fix anything, but I want it for itself, not for what it might or might not fix.
What classic and public domain story should he star in?
Don Quixote
Good choice. Who is he playing and who is Kermit playing? Sancho and Don Quixote are the two tops I think
One time I picked a guy to sponsor with 1-2 euros per day every time I saw him. I tried to make it consistent and I only gave to one person. In the US donating to shelters and food banks is for sure more effective.
Kermit needs to hide Miss Piggy else Pascal’s gonna grope her too.
Never heard of him but he looks like a younger Charles Bronson? Quick glance at web search results didn’t inspire any muppet thoughts.
This movie is so fun. Its such a good time
Nick Cage making a whole movie to make fun of Nick Cage was already funny but Pedro Pascal was a perfect match
he’s super giggly and happy all the time, and a staunch defender of trans rights.
I mean, he already got the experience with Baby Yoda.
I’m tired of seeing Pascal in everything. He’s a moderately ok actor at best.
Ok but I love him
Well, it’s a good thing that you can still go see him in all the movies he’s currently in still.
He’s solid A-list. But I agree, it would be nice if the Hollywood Execs Office didn’t key in on 2-5 people and then crank out movies about them for three years at a stretch.
Also, kinda crazy how Timothée Chalamet just dropped off the face of the Earth.
He’s got fantastic range. Compare his roles in Prospect, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Narcos and Game of Thrones. All completey different and he is so naturally whatever character he portrays.
“What this place needs is a little bit of a pick-me-up. Maybe we bring in Charlie Chaplain and Dick Van Dyke to liven things up?”
