When Trump was running for president the first time I always said that the “good” thing about him was that he said what he thought and so you always knew what he was thinking, but the bad thing was that everything he thought was insane and terrifying and full of hatred.
It’s scary because it turns out a lot of people don’t want a person who is well spoken, or thoughtful in their actions, or able to compromise as their nation’s leader. They want someone who’s loud, says anything that pops into their head, and is willing to act completely and utterly on impulse.
