I think a ship between deadpool and Wolverine makes a lot of sense though. At least from the perspective of it being a piece of entertainment media. They have experiences they share exclusively, as well as personal, natural ones. They have a lot in common, in terms of interest, history, social circles. They also have very divergent personalities.
