I hate the trend of censoring profanity. It’s the internet you fuck-cakes
I gotchu
un-censoring should be a thing
I try my best when I see it o7
The red looks like it’s above the meme?
Like it’s piled on top?
It’s hard to explain…
It’s wrong in a strange way
Thank you for your efforts
It is. The red is above the ducks which is above the fucks
I think you wanted to say “you f🦆k-cakes”
fmallardk
When I read this, my inner voice used quacks to bleep out the profanity
Watch your language! You can’t just throw around offensive words like c*nsor
I hate the fact that for the longest time, iOS would autocorrect fuck to duck. And worse yet, they touted no longer autocorrecting it as a new feature as part of their WWDC keynote.
Worse yet are those stupid Tiktok-friendly euphemisms, like “unalive” instead of dead. Makes the meme sound like it’s made for a damn toddler.
How about as a compromise you post the way you want and let others post the way they want?
I do, and I adore fossil. The commentary is not directed towards them, but the overall trend.
You know how adults who don’t have children talk to children? And there are no children in the room? Ok.
There’s a part in a discworld book about a creator “god” obsessed with making beetles lol.
The Last Continent
you know we can swear on the internet right? we all know it says fucking.
some people prefer not to and thats okay!
Fuck them.
Only if they want to be fucked
If they don’t want to swear, that’s fine, then don’t swear. That doesn’t make it okay to alter something someone else made so as to not offend their sensibilities.
TIL about this weird ass mf giraffe weevil
What usecase does the weird design have?
operates as a stand-alone forklift in the bug world
Crabs are his chosen people
That’s why he spoke through a burning bush
What the f🦆ck
Everyone freaking out over censoring fuck when there a beetle that looks like a giraffe out there.
The cure for cancer? That too is a beetle.
Honestly a more theologically consistent explanation of God than whatever the fuck organised religion has been up to for the past 5000 years
Maybe it’s not about humans and never has been. Maybe by the time the gods realized how much of an issue humans were, we were already too widespread for them to destroy us without either running out of mana or ruining earth for everything.
Maybe the cancer is a god’s plan, but it’s not working well enough.
Anyone got links to these particular species, especially the wasp one?
Don’t give a f🦆k about the children either, carcinization is expected I thought.
ETA: guess what I duckduckgo’d “wasp beetle” and found it. I feel like a genius https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clytus_arietis
J. B. S. Haldane has entered the chat.
Don’t forget about the beetle that has adaptations to slip through the intestinal tract of its predators and make it out through their anus ;)
Comma splice here, comma splice there.
All cancer is toxin exposure. The cure has been known for a long time, no toxin exposure.
Butt…families of cancer victims vote for pollution and smoke, etc.
Lost a family member to cancer in a cancer cluster around a church-owned industrial plant.
When the cases piled up, they did like Jesus woukd do and moved to another state. Didn’t have money for raises for years because working for the Lord, but did hire consultants to fire employees and shut the plant down.
Keep believing us, we care, and we’re working on a cure until federal funding and charities run out of money.
Sponsored by your friends in the petrochemical industry.
You can get skin cancer from sun exposure, does that mean the sun is a toxin? 🤔
No but it is a deadly laser
Not anymore there’s a blanket~
Cancer is a DNA mutation. Those mutations can be hereditary, random chance, or environmentally caused.
The mutations can be from that list, but mostly in our current world it’s exposure to toxins.
Another toxin is media paving over real causes and making the story monetise curing.
Yeah I don’t know about the veracity of the statement ‘all cancer is toxin exposure’ you got a source to back that claim up?
As a society we are choosing to have industry that creates cancers. If we chose to stop doing that, maybe instead we could spend our time appreciating the beauty of each beetle.
