What the fuck
Fucking knew it was about oil.
No. It’s not about that at all. It’s about destroying their energy supplies for vehicles, airplanes, etc. It’s a strategic attack to limit their resources and slow then down.
Edit: Why is everyone downvoting me for stating a fact? I don’t get it?
Ukraine has tried to do the same thing to Russia by trying to disable their refineries.
You cut the fuel, the vehicles and planes can’t go anywhere. It’s a basic strategy.
Unless you guys think I support these attacks? I don’t support ANY attack. All this insanity needs to stop right now.
Like they aren’t gonna buy from Russia 🤦🏽
Russia. The country that’s facing a very cold winter with its limited oil supplies?
Keep telling yourself that.
Doesn’t it make sense? Am I wrong for pointing out that this is a very well known strategy?
But most of all, why the attitude???
You forgot one thing. Ukraine is not trying to expand their borders. Isreal is, once they do those oil fields are no longer subjected to the sanctions.
Oh, and raping and pillaging is the most profitable business historically.
I’m not defending Israel. What gave you that idea???
I didn’t, but your theory had major holes in it.
I hate it here
Yeah, I’d like to get off the wild ride now, please… I ran out the last semblence of patriotism back when we kept sending weapons to Israel so they could genocide hundreds of thousands of Palestinians.
And now we’re doing this shit before an election where a demented, old, evil man wants to turn all this shit up to eleven?
Great. Okay. Fuck this.
Goddamn, Biden’s worldview is so very obviously ossified.
For the boomers (and older) in the back: this shit is a big part of why younger generations don’t want you in charge anymore.
I fucking hate Biden, man… I voted for him, and I would have done it again to keep the hate-filled dementia patient out of office… But fuck this guy, man.
It’s Isreal being a dick again so I want to be critical but I get all fuzzy inside when they start talking about bombing oil infrastructure.
I think the only positive that may come out of all this conflict is the decimation of oil and gas infrastructure in Russia and the Middle-East. It’s already forced Europe to transition away from natural gas faster.
It’s not going to do anything for emissions in the short term, because oil vats going up in smoke isn’t exactly green, but with any luck countries will need to find alternatives before capacity can be built back.
If it’s anything like ‘discussing’ the ceasefire, they’ll end up attacking Iran’s nuclear infrastructure instead.
