I was reading an article about a massive ICE raid at a Home Depot in LA, and one woman they interviewed escaped by jumping into a stranger’s car at a red light.

It made me think that if I’m ever driving past a situation like that, I would pull over and try to squeeze as many escapees as possible in my vehicle.

People should try protesting ICE while dressed as ICE. All masked, of course.

If the Nazi cunts are allowed to do it, then anyone should be able to dress however the fuck they want.

You can’t be charged for imitating an ICE agent if not even ICE agents provide ID, or can prove who they are.

These people are all coworkers in career LEO positions.

You think one group of 20 dudes have Kevlar vests and their sidearms at home and just pitch up at a court house like it’s a shift at a Denny’s? These people have desks and a locker room somewhere where they see each other without masks. They know each other well before the masks go on.

Yeah, but that’s not the result the OP post expects, but instead “oh, you’re on duty now? Well, sure, OK I guess.”

What you’re suggesting of the opposite. Legit other agency LEOs show up for a double-tap arrest and the first group start shooting at them because they don’t expect them.

Seems we could use a few thousand decent people to join ICE and start exercising some of the ideally non-violent techniques found in the CIA’s civilian sabotage field manual from WW2.

“Oh shit. Sorry boss. I thought this ICE van ran on diesel fuel, not gasoline.”

“Ah crap, I left the door to the detention van unlocked and all the prisoners ran away!”

“What do you mean I’m lazy and unproductive? I’ve been at every one of our raids. Just because I didn’t apprehend anyone myself, doesn’t mean I wasn’t working.”

“Look, I’m just being thorough. It’s important to check, double check, and triple check any orders or warrants. There’s a lot of people trying to sabotage ICE right now. That’s why I always confirm our orders both in email and in person before moving forward. I would also like to hold a meeting to plan how we might establish a committee on preventing leftists from sabotaging ICE.”

Collect a paycheck, drain ICE funds, and be the most unproductive and incompetent ICE agent in history.

I don’t understand why more Americans just don’t dress up like ICE and do whatever they want …

    • rob a bank
    • local courthouse and help out someone being actually processed by ICE
    • upset your local parish for no reason
    • raid a school and let the kids out early for fun
    • upset and panic a Republican political event
    • local supermarket and grab some free coffee
    • raid a library and take a book without signing it out
    • get your daily groceries at the grocery store and don’t pay for anything
    • go into a bar and scare everyone … then take all the money and booze you want
    • go into a car dealership and steal a brand new car

… like … no one is bothering to check who ICE is and they are not identifying themselves.

All they have is body armour, masks and firearms … anyone can do that … which means, anyone can do whatever they want.

That’s literally the Underground Railroad. People hid slaves, even in northern states because it was legal to capture slaves there and drag them back, despite slavery itself being illegal in those states. So people hid slaves and helped them get to Canada, where they could tell slave catchers to fuck off and go home. Our country has some dark historical truths…

Similarly, it was also really common for free Black people to be kidnapped in northern states and enslaved.

Solomon Northrop, if you have seen Twelve Years a Slave (and everyone needs to, we need to make it part of every high schoolAmerican history class), might have been captured again. Wiki gives the only reason that this is unlikely that he was probably too old at that point to be worth it. His kidnappers faced no consequences.

I wonder how many people saved up to buy their freedom “legally” and were taken back. There are so many stories we’ll never know.

lol … that would actually be hilarious

Get a bunch of guys and cosplay as ICE agents and join their raids and gatherings and confuse the hell out of them.

Imagine 20 no name, non identifiable ICE agents raiding a place, then coming out of the building to 100 ICE agents that look like them mingling in with their group. The cosplayers just play along, making orders, taking orders, following, arguing, screaming, shouting, pushing and just causing general mayhem.

It’s a good idea because ICE agents are not identifying themselves … so they would have a hard time arguing that anyone is impersonating an officer or agent.

I’m sure they would bend and break the rules over it anyway … but what choice do you end up with? … don’t do anything and they put you in danger … or dress up like them and you’re still in danger anyway but at least you’re doing something.

Its not like these people just start their day off from home. This isn’t some 9-5 office job.

They go to an office and park their cars (probably trucks) in the same lot, they kit up in a locker room and spend an hour shooting the shit with all their bros, and then talk about who is wearing what subtle things so they can tell Jenkins from Thompson at a distance. They know each other. They hang out at each other’s houses on the weekends. Their kids play together. They know who is supposed to be there that day. They have a game plan as to who does what. They chit chat about music and guns and the weather and cars and TV shows quietly in the downtime.

These people are not you. They can tell when someone else just shows up. They are organized when required, idiosyncratic about key details when needed, and hierarchical. An outsider only gets a pass when a CO tells them the outsider is OK.

I think you meant to finish that the inter-agency is notoriously bad at communicating and informing each other. Yes, that’s true, but unless the OP situation plans to identify themselves as the FBI with fake badges, credentials, and possibly even paperwork that the subject’s lawyer can corroborate, it’s not going to go well.

Might make some good fiction. IRL would make for a lengthy prison term.

Yeah, as long as you don’t try to claim you’re law enforcement they can’t legally get you on those outfits. You can look up pictures of them, go on evike or another airsoft shop, and you match 99% of their different outfits. At most you need to go elsewhere for matching denim.

Kidnapping and false imprisonment might be on the table though, depending on the other person. There’s also conealing/falsefying your identity in a court building, which is iffy in some jurisdictions.

Given that they’re in masks and civilian clothing when they kidnap people, there apparently is no official “ICE uniform”. Would be interesting to see them attempt to charge somebody with “impersonating a federal officer” when they’re just dressed in normal street clothes.
